Lexia
Lexia Core5 Reading is a fun, computer-based program that has helped millions of students
improve their literacy skills. The activities in Core5 support and build on your child’s classroom
curriculum and focus on developing reading skills in key areas.
ST Math
ST Math is a visual instructional program that engages students in creative and rigorous problem solving, allowing them to SEE the math and grow.
iReady
i-Ready allows your teacher(s) to meet your student
exactly where they are and provides data to increase your
student’s learning gains. i-Ready consists of two parts:
Diagnostic and Personalized Instruction.
The i-Ready Diagnostic is an adaptive assessment that
adjusts its questions to suit your student’s needs. Each
item a student sees is individualized based on their
answer to the previous question. For example, a series
of correct answers will result in slightly harder questions,
while a series of incorrect answers will yield slightly easier
questions.
i-Ready Personalized Instruction provides students with
lessons based on their individual skill level and needs, so
your student can learn at a pace that is just right
for them. These lessons are fun and interactive to
keep your student engaged as they learn.
Ready Classroom Mathematics
Ready Classroom Mathematics is a robust
mathematics program that will help your student
become a strong, independent mathematical
thinker. The program uses a different approach
to math instruction than many of us had as kids.
It focuses on learning through problem solving
and student-to-student conversations about
mathematical thinking (called discourse). Your
student’s teacher uses a set of learning routines
each day that help students engage in discourse
as they develop a conceptual understanding
of mathematics. The routines also ensure that
your student develops the problem-solving skills
needed to become an independent and confident
mathematical thinker.
STAR Testing
For students in grades K-5, we use "STAR" testing as a way to measure their Math skills and Reading comprehension skills. We set goals for each student to meet (one for Math and one for Reading or Early Literacy) and when they break their goal we celebrate. For more information, please click on the "STAR Testing" for a link to more information.
