New Bedford Public Schools is honored to have the YWCA SouthCoast in partnership to host a 21-Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenge for our staff. Communities across the country have participated in 21-Day Racial Equity and Social Justice Challenges to broaden the discussion and understanding of racial equity and issues of social justice. In practice, the challenge is 21 days of self-directed learning through daily emails with content on education, race, power, privilege, and leadership. Be part of the community conversation to inspire. It only takes 21 days to develop a new habit. It takes leaders to set the path. Attached you will find a flyer with more information.
